Intrepid Young Adults

Helping Young Adults Slow Down, Create, and Live Intentionally:

In a fast-moving world that often pushes productivity over presence, we believe in something different: intention. At Intrepid, our work with young adults goes beyond skill-building. We focus on helping them reconnect with themselves and the world through creativity, mindfulness, and meaningful experiences.

Our staff are passionate, grounded, and deeply invested in helping young adults learn to live purposefully. Whether it’s guiding someone through the therapeutic process of cooking a meal from scratch, exploring emotional expression through music, or doing arts and crafts that tell a personal story, our team helps transform everyday activities into powerful tools to foster self-awareness, growth, and independence.

We also believe healing doesn’t happen solely indoors. Getting outside, whether for a hike, a walk around a park, or simply sitting together in the sun, is vital to our approach. Nature has a way of grounding us, and shared outdoor moments often lead to deep conversations, spontaneous laughter, and stronger bonds. These experiences remind our young adults to breathe, be present, and feel connected to something larger than themselves.

From arts and craft sessions to sharing favorite playlists to group meals and peaceful time in nature, every activity we offer is rooted in the idea that intention leads to transformation. Our staff don’t just teach, they model what it looks like to live creatively, mindfully, and with heart. And through their example, young adults learn that joy, healing, and purpose can be found in the smallest, most intentional moments.
